Weekly Update #10 - Colourful enemies

First of all, merry Christmas everyone! This is the last update of the year, as 2021 is finally coming to a close, and it has been a very fruitful year for Seed of Life (pun intended). This week I’ve been working on the implementation of a new enemy, which is able to fire projectiles at you. Here’s the full list:
Content
- New feature: The Orbweaver, an upgraded version of the Lesser Orbweaver. This new model can fire projectiles at you, and also move faster. Its shell is yellow, as opposed to the red colour of its counterpart.
Work in progress
- Maintenance: I am upgrading the sky system and the post-processing stack, making a few tweaks along the way.
Objectives for next update
- Finish upgrading the assets that require an upgrade
- Fix a couple of bugs that have been lingering in the backlog
- If I have the time, continue working on the main quest by implementing a new scripted sequence
