Weekly Update #16 - Working on cutscenes, again


Of all the different jobs that I need to do for Seed of Life, some at an amateur level (like 2D and 3D art) and others at a more professional level (music and programing), animation is probably the discipline that takes me the longest time to get right. To give you an idea, this week I have (mostly) been working on only one cutscene, and only ten seconds of animation have been made. In order to tackle challenges like this, that because they take so long might affect my motivation and productivity, what I personally do is trying to work on it little by little, while doing other activities in-between every session. This method works fairly well, and it has proven effective since it allowed me to create three other cutscenes already. I am confident that the cutscene I’m working on right now should be completed without problem.

  • New feature: Cutsecne #4, in which you will meet a new character, who will aid you in your journey.

Work in progress

  • Cutscene #4, currently doing the fifth frame of the storyboard, still got a dozen to go.

  • Keep working on Cutscene #4
