Weekly Update #25 - Cue circus music
It’s refreshing to work on new environments for a little while. I have mostly dedicated this week to the design of the second Euzoan Cache level. Euzoan Caches are secret locations, that will be hidden behind hatches that you’ll find throughout the world. They will contain puzzles and treasures.
This particular cache also introduces a new mechanic that I have been implemented, which is tightrope-walking and pullable ropes. Hope can now walk on ropes in order to reach new areas, and Letty can grab these ropes, and attach them somewhere else. Get ready for puzzles and platforming. Here’s the full list:

- New feature: Pullable ropes. Letty can grab the end of ropes and attach them somewhere else. She can’t attach the other end beyond the rope’s length.
- New level: Euzoan Cache #2, code-named “Ropes”.

Objectives for next update
Just a little side note, but I am as of today officially part of the Steamworks partner program, which means that Seed of Life will soon have its own Steam page. I look forward to it! I am going to re-work on a lot of graphical assets and promotional stuff, so expect this here itch.io page to change a little as well. Maybe a new background and a new logo.
- Work on the Steam page as much as possible.
- Continue designing Phae.
